My Terraforming of Mars continues.
My first version from my other post
looks sad now. I have made a lot of changes since the second version I posted it, however it doesn’t appear that much different. There have been many alterations. I have added more mountains. There is a lot of different land elements going on. One thing that I didn’t mention before is the oceans. The ocean I actually put over the Mars surface so on the areas close to the land mass there is more of a blending going on so there is a sense of depth. Another element to this is the color of the ocean is lighter closer to the land masses.
There was also a seam on the either side of the planet it was hard to see, but now it is gone
I have also done a version with populated areas. Cities etc. This I may revisit due to scale issues. Although the scale will be an issue since Mars is 53% the diameter of Earth and the land mass of Earth is equal to that of the entire surface of Mars.
While doing my Mars I also went a created a polluted Earth. I will revisit this again also. It’s something I’ve done before. I’d like to spend more time getting it right.

You know I like terraformed Mars. 🙂
The “future Earth” reminds me of how they had the planet looking in Wall-E, except without all of those satellites cluttering orbital space.

Thank you.
I thought the same thing about “future earth” after I made it.
